Count by 2009

Here we will show you how to count by 2009, discuss counting by 2009 patterns, and tell you why knowing how to count by 2009 matters. To start off, note that Count by 2009 means counting in 2009s, or count by two thousand nines, and it is also called skip counting by 2009.

How to count by 2009
Normally, we would count by 1 like this: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., but when we count by 2009, we count 2009, 4018, 6027, 8036, and so on.

In other words, to count in intervals of 2009 or skip counting by 2009, we start with 2009 and then add 2009 to get the next number, and then continue adding 2009 to the previous number to keep counting by 2009, like this:
